Prayer is when you talk to God; meditation is when you listen to God!
Pray with your eyes on God and not on the difficulties!
The value of persistent prayer is not that God will hear us but that we will hear him!
Trouble and perplexity drive me to prayer; prayer drives away trouble and perplexity!
In the absence of regular prayer the soul languishes without the love of God.
2nd Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Ephesians 3:16-19
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge–that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
